Rich Arnold is currently a Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) Growth Advisor at CDME with a focus on electronics and integrated systems companies.  Rich graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University in 2000.  Rich was a project manager and digital design engineer for circuit card and motherboard design Micro Industries, from 2000 to 2003.   Here he led customer specification, designed custom boards, developed documentation, test-plans and performed prototype testing and debugging of systems.  He was responsible for all phases of the project from conception to production release.  From 2004 until he joined CDME in 2017, Rich held positions of increasing responsibility in the design, test and fabrication of digital and analog electronic systems at Avnet Services (formally Pinnacle Data Systems).  As a lead engineer, Rich mentored and trained new engineers on hardware and software systems and managed both technical support and root cause analysis teams.  Rich has a wide and extensive set of experiences in developing commercial electronics systems from idea to implementation.
