While I have only worked at CDME my final semester here at Ohio State, it has provided me with an outlet to utilize my technical skills outside of classes. My projects, such as creating an easily updatable Welcome Display Board for the Center, have been a good challenge to work on, making me a better software developer. I have learned about all the great things CDME does for both students and industry during my time here. I wish I started working here earlier in my university career to take advantage of all that CDME has to offer.

CDME's Experience with Nic:

We found Nic via one of our Faculty Advisory Committee members (Dr. Steven Bibyk).  Nic only spent a short time at CDME, but his impact on the center during that time was very pronounced.  From his first day, Nic took command of CDME's digital persona.  He brought our website into compliance with university guidelines, develop a framework and corresponding code for communicating to multiple social media sites and our university webpage simultaneously (for anyone that works within OSU, you understand this is not a small feat), and he develop an in-house software solution for managing our Welcome Board and Project Status information.

Nic is a hard charging engineer, the biggest problem that I had managing him was finding problems and projects for him that were challenging and allowed him to fully utilize his education.  I am confident that Nic is going to be a rock star at whatever he decides to go after in life.  I wish him the best of luck at Amazon and whatever follows.
