Safety Display Boards for CDME equipment safety

The College of Engineering recently developed Safety Display Boards for all equipment in the Center for Design and Manufacturing Excellence. These boards help fulfill regulatory requirements for the development of Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Equipment operators are trained on the safe use of all equipment prior to their use. In addition to training and to help others who may be in the vicinity of the equipment, the Safety Display Boards provide information relating to specific hazards, hazard controls, training requirements, personal protective equipment, emergency procedures and SOPs for each piece of equipment.
