HAMMER Engagement Meeting

Please join us for the first engagement meeting of Ohio State’s new National Science Foundation (NSF) Engineering Research Center (ERC): HAMMER – Hybrid Autonomous Manufacturing: Moving from Evolution to Revolution.  This is open to all, Friday October 7, 4-5 PM at the Ohio State STEAM Factory, 400 West Rich Street, Columbus OH, 43210. 

This NSF ERC is based on an anticipated federal investment of $52M over the next decade and serves much more than just research.  It is designed to support workforce development, a culture of diversity and inclusion and be based on an innovation ecosystem to build new companies and serve next-generation manufacturing.  More information can be found at HAMMER at hammer.osu.edu.  This is a first meeting of what will be an ongoing series, planned to meet weekly via zoom, with live meetings the first Thursday of each month. 

HAMMER will be inclusive, engaged and engaging.  This will be the first informal meeting where you can meet the leaders, learn about the goals and planned programs, hear about recent related research advances, and help shape where this will all go.  Anyone with interest is welcome.  This includes those who want to find out how the HAMMER-ERC will impact:
