EWI recently developed a national roadmap on materials joining and forming technologies in a two-year project funded by the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST). The plan presents a national perspective on the current status of these important operations in manufacturing, and is believed to be the most comprehensive industry review ever completed in North America. This webinar will review the cross-industry canvassing methods employed in developing the roadmap, discuss the key needs identified by industry, and prioritize the research topics designed to address those needs.
